4th Annual BBFAI Breeder's Seminar recap
This year's seminar was a wonderful success.
Bluff Breeze Farm, Breakstone Ridge and Kinney Valley Alpacas hosted three guest
speakers: Amanda VandenBosch, Jude Anderson and Brett Kaysen. We banded
together to help educate our alpaca neighbors about the ins and outs of breeding
for the future. Mill Street Tavern provided the facility and meals
for Saturday's full day of education and Bluff Breeze Farm
facilitated the event on Sunday. The goal was to
help our friends and customers maximize their herd's value through
the use of selection tools to
increase breeding potential and predictability. We, as a new
livestock industry, can do that by implementing tools already available in
other livestock industries.
